Live at the OH back

MARYSVILLE – Live at the OH returns Sept. 19 with the return of the Margaret Wilder Band.

The band plays blues, funk and soul music from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Cost is $5 at the door at the Marysville Opera House, 1225 Third St.

At the same time, Sip and Fuse will take place downstairs. Kim Winfrey of The Pottery Nook will teach the basics of glass fusing as participants make a piece of artwork called “Autumn Trees.”

Upcoming Live at the OH! concerts will feature The Blues Project with John Carswell Oct. 17 and Chris Eger and Cory Vincent unplugged Nov. 19.

Car wash

MARYSVILLE – The Marysville Tulalip Kiwanis Aktion Club will have its first fundraiser with a car wash Sept. 21. The event will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Marysville United Methodist Church, 5600 64th St. NE.

Music fundraiser

MARYSVILLE – Three barbershop choruses will perform at a fundraiser for Operation Smile at 2 p.m. Sept. 28 at Church of Christ, 4226 92nd St. NE.

The nonprofit funds surgeries for children who suffer from cleft lip or cleft palate. Performing will be Seattle Shores, Seattle Seacordsman and Harmony Northwest from Mount Vernon. A freewill offering will take place.
