Notice is hereby given that the Marysville City Council will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m., on Monday, July 28, 2008 in the Council Chambers of Marysville City Hall located at 1049 State Avenue, Marysville, Washington. The purpose of this public hearing is to consider the following:

An ordinance of the city of Marysville, Washington approving a cable television franchise between the city of Marysville, Washington “city” and Verizon Northwest inc. “franchisee.”

Any person may appear at the hearing and be heard in support of or opposition to this proposal. Additional information may be obtained at the Marysville City Clerk’s office, 1049 State Avenue, Marysville, Washington 98270, 360-363-8000.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Directors of Marysville School District #25 will hold a public hearing and Board adoption of the 2008-2009 school year Fiscal Budget during the regular meeting in the District Board Room at 6:30 PM on Monday, August 4, 2008. A copy of the proposed F195 Budget document may be obtained by calling the Business Office at 360-653-0803, or by requesting a copy at the hearing. At this hearing any taxpayer may appear and be heard for or against any part of the budget.

NOTICE OF APPLICATION

Notice is hereby given that the City of Marysville is considering adoption of amendments to the Marysville Comprehensive Plan – Transportation Element, as part of the 2008 Comprehensive Plan Amendment cycle. The Transportation Element identifies improvement projects and programs, and policies to guide the development of an integrated multi-modal transportation system to year 2035 in order to provide a long range assessment of facility needs. The Transportation element addresses streets and highways, truck routing, pedestrian and bicycle needs, transit, and transportation demand management strategies to help the City meet these existing and future transportation demands. Funding strategies are also included in the Transportation Element, including use of fuel taxes, grants, transportation impact fees, and other City revenues.

113th Street NE,

4100 & 4200 Block

MARYSVILLE, WASHINGTON

NOTICE IS HEREBY given that 113th Street NE; 4100 and 4200 Blocks, will be CLOSED TO ALL TRAFFIC between the hours of 7:30AM to 7:30PM from JULY 28, 2008 to AUGUST 08, 2008.

The road closure is due to the installation of a deep sanitary sewer main. Advance road closure signs will be posted on Wednesday, July 23, and applicable detour route signs will also be installed by the contractor, Smoots Development, Inc.
