Head-on collision temporarily closes Cedar Ave.

MARYSVILLE — Cedar Avenue was blocked off by Marysville Police officers, between Eighth and Grove streets, for close to an hour following a head-on collision between a 2007 Honda Accord and a Marysville NAPA Auto Parts truck at approximately 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 18.

MARYSVILLE — Cedar Avenue was blocked off by Marysville Police officers, between Eighth and Grove streets, for close to an hour following a head-on collision between a 2007 Honda Accord and a Marysville NAPA Auto Parts truck at approximately 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 18.

According to officers on the scene, both drivers were transported to Providence Regional Medical Center’s Colby Campus in Everett for precautionary medical examinations, but neither one appeared to have sustained more than bumps and bruises at the time. Neither vehicle had any other passengers.

This accident is under investigation by the Marysville Police Department, and as of press time, no witnesses to the accident had come forward.
