Have a cup of coffee with Marysville Mayor Kendall and incoming Mayor Nehring

MARYSVILLE – Marysville residents are invited to meet with Mayor Dennis Kendall and incoming Mayor Jon Nehring for coffee and conversation in a casual setting at a coffee klatsch set for 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 13.

The coffee klatsch is being graciously hosted by ServPro at their new Marysville facility at 13421 39th Ave. NE in Marysville.

Marysville citizens who have issues to discuss or who would simply like to wish Kendall and Nehring congratulations and best of luck in their next ventures are welcome to join them for coffee and donuts.

Kendall and Nehring both advocate open public communications through responding to phone calls and e-mails from constituents, as well as one-on-one scheduled visits. Constituents can also have their comments addressed under the audience participation segment at regular City Council meetings. In that setting, residents go to the podium, speak into a microphone and voice their concerns to the mayor and council. By comparison, these occasional coffee klatsches are more informal and perhaps less imposing for some people.

“Thank you to ServPro for hosting this event,” said Kendall. The Marysville branch of HomeStreet Bank hosted a coffee klatsch earlier this year.
