Graduation dates set for four Marysville high schools

MARYSVILLE With the end of the school year fast approaching, older students are getting ready to put on caps and gowns, grab their diplomas and move into the next phase of their lives.

MARYSVILLE With the end of the school year fast approaching, older students are getting ready to put on caps and gowns, grab their diplomas and move into the next phase of their lives.
For the citys major high school, Marysville-Pilchuck, graduation ceremonies are set for 7 p.m. June 5 at the Everett Event Center. Because classes are not complete, school officials did not offer an estimate as to how many students will be among the Class of 2008.
At the Arts and Technology options school, officials estimated some 50 graduates would receive diplomas 7 p.m. June 10 at the Tulalip Amphitheater. If the weather is unfavorable, the ceremony will move to the A and T School.
For Heritage High School students, graduation is 5:30 p.m. June 7 in the new gymnasium of the options campus in Tulalip. A spokesperson said about 15 students should participate.
And for the districts oldest option school, Marysville Mountain View, graduation for about 20 students will be 7 p.m. June 10 at Marysvilles Cedarcrest Elementary School.
