Hula hoop contest is just one of the fun activities at Girls Night Out, an annual event presented by the Arts Council Of Snohomish County. The fun runs all day Saturday, from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., Oct. 21 in the lobby of the Historic Monte Cristo Hotel, 1507 Wall St., in Everett. More than 30 local designers will sell vintage and contemporary clothing, jewelry and accessories. Tribal-style belly dancing is presented by Troupe Arkena and there will be Pretty Princess games for grown-up girls. Other participating businesses in downtown Everett will be hosting their own events to enhance the day.
