MARYSVILLE – A fire destroyed a home in the 6300 block of 35th Street NE Sunday.

Marysville firefighters arrived shortly after 3 a.m. to find fire extending from the home’s porch to the attic. Firefighters searched the home to make sure no one was inside.

They then fought the flames for nearly two hours.

Lake Stevens provided mutual aid.

The home is a total loss with damage estimates still being tallied. The cause is under investigation by the Snohomish County Fire Marshal’s Office.
