MARYSVILLE – A 41-year-old motorcyclist who died Sept. 20 has been identified as Gregori D. Metzger of Marysville.
He hit a tree after going off the roadway at around 1:15 a.m. in the 5800 block of Sunnyside Boulevard. Marysville fire personnel took over life-saving efforts but were unable to revive the victim.
A Marysville police support chaplain responded to assist with distraught family members who were part of a multi-vehicle caravan behind Metzger.
The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office said the cause of death was multiple blunt force injuries.
