Catherine Kessel, of American Quiltworks, Marysville, spent a day at the Quiltmakers Shoppe in Arlington recently, handing out free samples of her machine quilting patterns. Kessel has announced to her customers to plan ahead for any quilting needs for the holidays. My last day to accept holiday orders will be Dec. 5.
