3 teens caught in Arlington bomb threat

ARLINGTON – Arlington police and schools staff have identified three 13-year-old boys involved in a bomb threat at Post Middle School.

ARLINGTON – Arlington police and schools staff have identified three 13-year-old boys involved in a bomb threat at Post Middle School.

The boys accepted responsibility for their roles in the threat that evacuated Post Middle School.

A report will be forwarded to the Snohomish County Prosecutor’s Office for consideration of charges. All three boys may also face discipline from Arlington Public Schools.

Public Safety Director Bruce Stedman said no explosive devices were found during the full building search conducted by Arlington police. School resumed in about an hour Dec. 16.

Arlington Public Schools Superintendent Kristine McDuffy said, “Thanks to the Arlington police and fire departments for their swift action and for their ongoing support to ensure our schools are safe.”
