Love potions and romance remedies!

This Valentine’s Day, spice things up with green flowers and adults-only chocolate

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner — do you know how you’ll celebrate?

The team over at Remedy Tulalip has had the love bug all month, and is full of romantic ideas. Here’s what the store’s budtenders suggest for the loves in their lives.

Cupid comes to Remedy!

Renee and Josh both have partners who aren’t interested in the mind-altering effects of cannabis, but that doesn’t mean Remedy isn’t a great place for them to shop. “My boyfriend doesn’t smoke or really ingest cannabis for the high, so I’d get him the Ceres Sticks in the Relax & Dragon Balm version to help relax him,” Renee says.

Josh also focused on products with a high CBD content, which offer soothing properties without the strong psychedelic effects. “I’d get something heavy in CBD since she doesn’t partake,” Josh says. “So a 1:1 chocolate or maybe Journeyman 30:1 Fruit Jellies!”

Kaleb opted for topical products, including a cannabis-infused lubricant that’s hypoallergenic, and an infused Bath Fizz by Honu Inc.

Carmen agrees that the Honu Bath Bombs are a great choice for Valentine’s Day, and suggested Mineral Spa Salts and massage oils too. To top it off? “Some Verdelux Bon Bombs, because Verdelux has a chocolatier on-site making their chocolate so delicious.”

Verdelux is a local Washington manufacturer of artisan edibles. Remedy Tulalip has brought in a great selection of chocolate packs from Verdelux and other suppliers if you want to romance your loved-ones with traditional chocolates — with a twist.

Love for locals

Tina took more of a longterm approach to Valentine’s, choosing a memento that will last well beyond Feb. 14. “I’d get a really awesome ONE-OF-A-KIND glass piece, like a Nectar Collector!”

A Nectar Collector is a type of glass piece used to smoke dabs and concentrates, that’s easier to transport than a bong. Remedy Tulalip supports many local companies, including local grower Washington Bud Company, which was Dev’s pick for Valentines.

For those emphasizing the sensual side of this love holiday, Jeni and Jenn have you covered — but they’re not taking things too seriously. “I’d go with Ceres Dragon Balm, so I can calm his muscles after the storm!” Jenn laughs.

“The Dragon Balls from Ceres add just enough spice, and they make great ‘libido’ balls for me and my partner!” Jeni adds.

Selena and a few other budtenders suggested getting an eighth of some good old fashioned flower for their special someone! Some strains are said to be an aphrodisiac — Remedy Tulalip has brought in a number of varieties to celebrate the holiday, but some of them won’t be here long. Ask the budtenders to show you their selection, and check out all the Valentine’s deals!
