Free education nights explore benefits of CBD

If you’ve been curious whether CBD might be a fit for your wellness goals, three free, public information sessions in Marysville offer you the opportunity to learn more.

Supporting their goal of community education and whole-body wellness, New World Health and Wellness is hosting three free education nights, Oct. 23, Oct. 30 and Nov. 6. The sessions will run from 6 to 7 p.m. and include the opportunity to learn, ask questions and explore some of the wide variety of CBD products available.

“We wanted to offer the community the chance to stop by, ask questions, try some samples and learn about the benefits of CBD in an inviting, relaxed setting,” explains Dave Day, who owns New World Health and Wellness with wife Julie.

Unlike shops that sell both recreational and medicinal cannabis products, New World Health and Wellness focuses on premium CBD without the THC – the element in cannabis that provides the “high.” What you will find are products supporting pain-relief, tinctures, edibles, including coffee, honey and teas, plus skin care and pet care products.

What is CBD?

Cannabidiol – or CBD – is a chemical compound found in the cannabis plant that’s often used in the production of oils and other products. When applied or consumed, it can give a feeling of relaxation, but doesn’t trigger highs like tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).

Research suggests CBD-rich products may offer positive results for a wide range of conditions such as anxiety, chronic pain, multiple sclerosis and PTSD.

Sharing CBD’s wellness benefits

Longtime Marysville residents, Dave and Julie began exploring the medical benefits of CBD when Dave began experiencing health concerns. After seeing the results he and his family enjoyed, the couple determined to share their experience, knowledge and the benefits of living healthy naturally.

After attending CannaCon in 2019, they decided to open Marysville’s first and only CBD store, empowering people to better health through the healing power of CBDs.

NW Health and Wellness products are:

  • THC-Free – With no THC, there’s no high, just natural wellness.
  • Lab tested – Tested by third-party, independent labs to ensure the highest-quality CBD products available.
  • 100 percent natural and pure – Created from all-natural ingredients, with no chemicals added, and from only the purest CBD.
