Machinists Union District Lodge 751 organizes the annual ride, which raises money for Guide Dogs of America. Last year, District 751 Machinists raised more than $276,000 for the California-based charity, which provides guide dogs for blind and vision-impaired people across North America.

The Harley-Davidson dealers are major sponsors of the event, but organizers have declared Puppy Putt to be open to “all breeds” of motorcycles and riders. Advance registration costs $15 per rider and $5 per passenger, if done on or before June 4, and $20 per rider after June 4 up to the day of the ride. Registration information is available at www.puppyputt.com.
