Marysville Strawberry Festival looking for Junior, Senior Royalty candidates

MARYSVILLE — The Marysville Strawberry Festival is now accepting applications for the 2010-11 April Friesner Memorial Royalty Scholarship Pageant.

MARYSVILLE — The Marysville Strawberry Festival is now accepting applications for the 2010-11 April Friesner Memorial Royalty Scholarship Pageant.

Both Junior and Senior Royalty applications can be obtained by calling the festival office at 360-659-7664.

Applicants must be juniors or seniors in high school to compete for Senior Royalty and in sixth- through 10th-grade to compete for Junior Royalty.

All applicants must either live within or attend schools in the Marysville or Lakewood school districts.

The deadline to receive applications is Oct 30, 2010.
