Local student receives scholarship from WSU

Michael Imboden was awarded a $1,000 Richard and Bonnie Winkwenwerder Scholarship by the Washington State University Department of Mathematics. Students receiving this scholarship must be pursuing a degree in mathematics and demonstrate academic excellence and involvement.

PULLMAN, Wash. — Michael Imboden was awarded a $1,000 Richard and Bonnie Winkwenwerder Scholarship by the Washington State University Department of Mathematics. Students receiving this scholarship must be pursuing a degree in mathematics and demonstrate academic excellence and involvement.

Imboden graduated from Arlington High School in 2012 and plans to graduate from WSU with a degree in mathematics and a minor in business in December 2015. He is a Residential Advisor for Stephenson North residence hall and is listed on the President’s Honor Roll.

Imboden is the son of Sandra and Lance Imboden of Marysville.
