MARYSVILLE — Starting on Thursday, Dec. 1, Marysville’s Cedarcrest Golf Course will give over its fairways after dark to host a new and enchanting event, the first-ever “Holiday Tour of Lights.”

Families and individuals alike are invited to board the Marysville Rotary Train or hop on an authentic hayride to visit the Holiday Tour of Lights, whose displays aim to light the hearts of all ages this holiday season.

Tours at the golf course will be available from 5-9 p.m. on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from Dec. 1-30, excluding the Dec. 3 “Merrysville for the Holidays” celebration downtown, and Christmas Eve Dec. 24. The course is located at 6810 84th St. NE.

The Rotary Train and hayride will wind through the course’s paths amid tree-lined fairways and rolling hills, as well as around its ponds, with glittery lights and displays along the route. There will be a host of free activities, a community bonfire, music and carolers, and holiday restaurant specials.

While there is no admission fee, a donation of $3 per child, $5 per adult or $20 per family is suggested by city Parks and Recreation officials.
