MARYSVILLE — The Grove Elementary PTA welcomes the community to their third annual talent show, basket raffle and silent auction on Friday, April 20.

The talent show will be led by the school’s music teacher, Teri Smith, and promises to showcase some of Grove Elementary’s most talented students.

The evening begins with a dinner for $6 per person from 6-7:15 p.m., with the talent show scheduled to start at 7 p.m.

Each of Grove’s 21 classrooms will prepare their own specially themed baskets for the raffle.

“Kids are anxiously anticipating the event and hope to be the lucky winners of their own class baskets,” Grove Elementary PTA Vice President Lisa Samaniego said. “Many parents and local businesses have made generous donations, including the Tulalip Resort, the Holiday Inn Express, Clear Image, the Marysville YMCA, Anvil Tattoos, Hoity Toity, Trusty Threads, Take 2 Clothing and many more.”

The Grove Elementary PTA’s goal is to raise funds for teacher grants, school field trips and assemblies, the art docent program, family fun nights and other programs that Samaniego deemed “essential to our children’s education.”

Basket raffle tickets are available for $1 each and the winners will be announced throughout the talent show. The silent auction winners will be announced at the end of the show.
