Free summer meals for kids and teens in Marysville start July 9

The Marysville School District is participating in the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction’s Summer Feeding Program, which provides a free snack and lunch for children and teens up to 18 years of age, and the same for adults 19 years and older for a cost of $1 per snack and $2 per lunch.

MARYSVILLE — The Marysville School District is participating in the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction’s Summer Feeding Program, which provides a free snack and lunch for children and teens up to 18 years of age, and the same for adults 19 years and older for a cost of $1 per snack and $2 per lunch.

The meal program has been coordinated through the efforts of the district’s food service provider, and in partnership with the Tulalip Boys & Girls Club, the Marysville Boys & Girls Club and the Marysville YMCA.

Beginning Monday, July 9, and running through Friday, Aug. 24, a snack or lunch will be available to the public at the Cascade, Liberty and Shoultes elementary schools, as well as the Tulalip and Marysville Boys & Girls Clubs.

Snacks will be available from 9:30-10 a.m. at the Cascade, Liberty and Shoultes elementary schools, and the Tulalip Boys & Girls Club, while the Marysville Boys & Girls Club will serve snacks from 11:30 a.m. to noon. The Cascade, Liberty and Shoultes elementary schools will serve lunch from 11:30 a.m. to noon, while the Tulalip Boys and Girls Club will serve lunch from noon to 12:30 p.m. and the Marysville Boys and Girls Club will serve lunch from 2:30-3 p.m.
