LAKEWOOD — The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is joining police officers and fellow sheriff’s deputies from across Washington state in taking part in “Cops on Sundaes” to benefit Special Olympics Washington.

On Sunday, Sept. 22, two Snohomish County Sheriff’s deputies will scoop ice cream at the Cold Stone Creamery, in Suite 106 at 16822 Twin Lakes Ave. in Lakewood, from 1-4 p.m.

During the deputies’ three-hour shift, all store proceeds will go to Special Olympics, along with 10 percent of all Western Washington sales on that same day.
