MARYSVILLE – Maryfest brought professional wrestling to the Marysville Strawberry Festival for the first time this year.

It didn’t disappoint.

Dozens of fans filled the seats and stood around the ring at Asbery Field watching the action at the two free shows.

Kids really seemed to enjoy the event. Jazzy, Brennan Darby and Jacob Landry were right in the front row. They jumped for joy when their favorite looked like he was going to win the bout. But their emotions changed when the match quickly changed around, and he ended up losing, which happens often in the sport.

They even booed and gave the thumbs down sign when the winner was paraded by his manager around the ring – typical fan behavior for CTW Combat Wrestling.
