Back-to-School thank you

Messiah Lutheran Church and Preschool is pleased to announce that the fifth-annual Back-to-School Clothing Giveaway was a great success.

Many families came to choose clothing, socks, undergarments, shoes and accessories for themselves and/or friends and neighbors. It is such an honor to be able to serve our neighbors in these difficult times.

This great community service project was only possible because of the generous donations from the ATU Local 587 Auxiliary, Marysville Fred Meyer, Marysville Target, Marysville Wal-Mart, the Evergreen Gleaning Association, the Levis and Dockers Outlet, the L’eggs Hanes Bali and Playtex Outlet, The Oshkosh B’Gosh Outlet, the Nautica and Nautica Kids Outlet, the Tommy Hilfiger Outlet and Yovka.

I would also like to thank all of the volunteers who offered their time and hard work, community members who donated clothing items and the business establishments that helped us with advertisement for the event. It is truly wonderful to live in such a caring and generous community.

Heather Beltran, Marysville

Clothing Drive Coordinator
