PNW company buys Marysville Ford

MARYSVILLE – Kendall Automotive Group Inc. has acquired Marysville Ford and Marysville Auto Center, both located on the west side of Smokey Point Boulevard.

Marysville Ford was opened in 2004 by Victor Fernandez, its co-founder, and moved to its current location in 2015. The 50,000-square-foot facility is an exclusive dealership for Ford Motor Co. products and joins Marysville Auto Center, a new pre-owned vehicle dealership, as part of the transaction.

“Victor came to this country with $300 to his name, got into the car business in 1994 and co-owned his own dealership ten years later,” said Dave Blewett, CEO of Kendall. “If that is not an American success story, I don’t know what is.” He continued: “We are honored to know Victor, let alone have the opportunity to bring these amazing businesses he built into our Kendall family.”

Fernandez is just as happy about the sale.

“These dealerships have been the life, livelihood and love of my family for almost sixteen years,” he said. “It makes me happy to be able to turn them over to a family run company which shares my values and can take my vision to new levels.”

Michael Skillern, president of Kendall, added, “We will work hard to live up to the tremendous legacy the Fernandez family has created.”
