TULALIP — Thanks to the partnership between the Marysville School District, the Tulalip Tribes and the Marysville Rotary Club, the annual Opportunity Expo is returning to the Tulalip Resort Orca and Chinook ballrooms on Tuesday, April 16, to prepare students for college, careers, work and life.

There are four scheduled sessions throughout the day. The district will bus all 11th-grade students from all eight high schools to two of the four scheduled sessions, at 8 a.m. and noon. Two additional sessions are scheduled, at 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., for other school districts, private schools and programs, community members, students and their parents. Students in grades 8-12 are encouraged to attend the Opportunity Expo between 2:30-4:30 p.m. with their parents.

More than 150 representatives will be on hand, including those of two- and four-year colleges, technical and trade schools, trade unions, local businesses, employers, branches of the military, community service and volunteer opportunities. They will provide information, ideas and guidance to students, as they prepare for life beyond high school.
