TULALIP — Tulalip-area teachers will be able to take advantage of a special shopping event being held just for them at the Dressbarn in Tulalip. From April 15-18, the national women’s apparel retail chain is hosting a Teacher “Very Indulgent Party” to express its appreciation for female teachers who shape the youth of their communities. The Tulalip Dressbarn’s Teacher VIP takes place April 18. Each Dressbarn store is hosting this event on only one of these four days.

“We recognize that our local female educators are often selective when it comes to spending money on their personal and professional wardrobes,” said Lois Maathuis, district manager of the Tulalip Dressbarn. “But at Dressbarn, we believe that every woman can look like a million, without having to spend a fortune. This event will prove that women can dress stylishly, without living beyond their means.”

Described by Maathuis as an “in-store shopping celebration,” the VIP event offers teachers personal attention, season-specific fashion tips and 15 percent off their total purchases.

“Tulalip-area teachers spend countless hours in the classroom, and we think it’s time for them to spend a little time on themselves,” Maathuis said. “This VIP event is guaranteed to be a fun-filled affair, complete with plenty of style and savings. We want to make it easy and fun for local teachers to look and feel their best.”

Maathuis noted that VIP “shopping celebrations” can be hosted at Dressbarn stores anytime. VIP hosts receive a 25-percent hostess coupon, as well as up to 10 postcard invitations, that double as exclusive 15-percent-off discounts for each guest. When guests arrive, they’re greeted with personalized welcome signs and party favors.

“Dressbarn wants to support women in their desire to look their best for less,” Maathuis said. “Our VIP events are a great way for women of the Tulalip area to celebrate finding high-quality, fashionable styles that are practically priced for their family and friends.”

Women in the Tulalip-area community interested in learning more about the Tulalip Dressbarn’s April 18 Teacher VIP can call the store, located at Seattle Premium Outlets, at 360-716-3116.
