The YMCA holds several family fun nights throughout the year on Easter, Halloween and other times. This is the seventh or eighth year the program has been going, according to Vickie Southern, family director for the Y. The Y has two family activity nights each month, usually on Tuesday nights. Other special events include the annual diversity celebration in May, the Healthy Kids Day and outdoor movies on an inflatable projection screen. We try to aim it so its good for families with little kids, Southern said.
