The Snohomish County Multi-agency Response Team (SMART) has responded to the scene at the 16300 block of SR 9 to investigate a possible trooper-involved shooting. One suspect was taken into custody and is being treated at Harborview Medical Center. No troopers or officers were injured, according to Shari L. Ireton, Director of Communications, Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
