MARYSVILLE — Gabrielle Grandbois scored a game-high 19 points and teammate Mikail Montez tacked on 12 to lead the Marysville Getchell girls basketball team to a 64-48 win over Meadowdale Dec. 9. MG improved its record to 3-1.

MARYSVILLE — Marysville-Pilchuck's Trina Davis and Hannah Taylor scored a goal apiece to advance the Tomahawks through the consolation match of the 3A district tournament over Meadowdale 2-1 Nov. 3. M-P will now play Glacier Peak Nov. 5. If M-P wins, it will advance to play either Stanwood or Shorewood for third place Nov. 7. If they lose their season ends.

MARYSVILLE — The Marysville Getchell tennis team lost to Oak Harbor 4-3 Sept. 16. MG's winning matches were in doubles: Nolan Lechner and James Madamba 6-1 and 6-2; Colton Bayley and Nathan Snyder 6-0, 4-6 and 10-1; and Gordy Delap and Dan Keisz 6-2 and 6-1. MG's overall record is 1-3.
