MARYSVILLE — Marysville Getchell senior Luis Pineda-Lopez placed second at the 3A district finals at the Snohomish Aquatic Center. He placed with a state-qualifying score of 307.65 points, but only after enduring some adversity.

MARYSVILLE — All got to play Feb. 5. During the Marysville Getchell girls basketball game against Stanwood, Eagles Wings Ministries put on a halftime basketball scrimmage, featuring adults with special needs.

MARYSVILLE — Mikail Montez led the Marsyville Getchell girls basketball team with 14 point enroute to a win over Oak Harbor 41-31 Feb. 3. MG’s record improved to 11-7. They play at Arlington Feb. 9 at 7:15 p.m.

MARYSVILLE — Tulalip Heritage girls basketball player Adiya Jones scored a game-high 35 points to soar the Hawks over Grace Academy 57-36 Dec. 15. Heritage improved 4-0 and will play next Dec. 21 at Neah Bay.
