MARYSVILLE World War II is top of mind these days, with the long-awaited debut recently of documentary filmmaker Ken Burns newest program, The War.
Sno-Isle Libraries is launching an audio-recording project that will give veterans, spouses and other family members an opportunity to share their memories of the war that gave us the greatest generation.
This month, library staff will be conducting interviews about the American experience during World War II; interviews will be conducted between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., Oct. 18, at the Marysville Library, 6120 Grove St.

Recordings may be submitted to the Veterans History Project, a partnership between the Library of Congress, PBS, WETA and Florentine Films. Recorded interviews will also be available on the Sno-Isle Libraries Web site beginning in mid-November.
