I support Dennis Kucinich for President because he is the only candidate in either party with a plan for universal, single-payer, not-for-profit health care that will protect all Americans. And it will be cheaper and better than the crazy system weve got today.
Do you ever get the feeling that we are paying too much for too little when it comes to medical care? We spend 50 percent more than the next most expensive nation (and twice as much as Canadians) yet the World Health Organization ranks the US as 37th in the world for the performance of its health care system. Despite all that money, citizens of 34 nations live longer than Americans.
Just the administration of the health care system alone consumes approximately 31 percent of the money spent for health care. America is the only developed nation that does not provide universal health care to its citizens. Dennis Kucinich has the political courage to change that and take the US from its ranking at 37th to No. 1. Support Dennis Kucinich just for the health of it.
