The Mikado, also known as The Village of Titipu, is a tale of love longed for, love found temporarily, love sacrificed and nearly lost, then negotiated, and of course, ultimately realized all set to some of the most energetic and delightful music ever produced by W.S Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan. Gorgeous vocals, visual splendor, artful comedy, with just the right amount of political satire layered in by the famous duo as a means of poking fun at the Parliament of their day, combine to provide a terrific entertainment experience for theater-goers of all ages and levels of sophistication.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $17 for juniors, seniors, and
military, available on-line at www.northwestsavoyards.org or call 866-811-4111.
