From singing traditional Christmas carols by candlelight and hearing the story of the birth of Jesus to watching yodeling cats on a big screen, churches in Marysville and Arlington have something for everyone this holiday season.
A highlight in Arlington is the Lifeway Foursquare Church is having a service in the old Olympic Theater downtown starting at 6 p.m.
In Marysville, the Free Methodist Church at 6715 Grove will have a more-traditional service at 9 p.m., with a choir singing, candles and the story of the Magi searching for the king. But at 6 p.m. they are offering a fun, family service with lots of singing, the Christmas story shown on a big-screen TV, and commercials featuring yodeling cats and elf videos.
