Lakewood Boosters holding annual fundraiser
On Saturday, March 24, the Lakewood Sports Booster Club will be holding their annual dinner and auction at the Viking Hall in Silvana. Tickets are on sale now by calling 425-293-6742 or download a ticket order form at the high school website, All funds raised will go directly to supporting athletics at Lakewood School District. Auction items include artwork, gift certificates, vacation getaways and courtside Seattle Sonics tickets.

Walk & Roll sign up available
The Arlington Runners Club is inviting interested participants of all ages to register for its upcoming walk-run event at Haller Park on Saturday, March 31, at 11 a.m. Top finishers will be recognized in each of the categories: the 5k and 10k runs, a 5k walk and a 5k walk and roll.

Spring volleyball registration deadline nears
Registration ends March 10 for the Arlington Boys & Girls Club coed volleyball program. Cost for volleyball is $65 for grades 3-12 and $50 for grades 1-2. Teams will practice two nights a week beginning the week of March 19. There will be a draft March 17 to determine teams. WTA hosting tryouts for summer basketball
WTA is holding tryouts for their girls high school summer travel team at Summit High School March 12 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Girls currently in grades 8-11 are invited to attend the tryouts. League basketball opens registration
AAU Washington Girls Basketball is currently accepting registration for girls teams grade 4-12 for spring league, which runs March through June. Additionally, No Fear Basketball teams are accepting girls and boys basketball players for their grade 3-12 to play in upcoming leagues.
