Marysville soccer awards scholarships

Four members of the Marysville Youth Soccer Club move on to the next stage in their lives with a little extra support from their soccer club.

Recent graduates Alexandra Brady, Caitlyn Watson, Josh Helm and Kelsey Brubaker were each awarded a $500 scholarship from the Kent Coulter/Windsor Main Memorial Scholarship fund as their continue their post-high school studies.

Watson is the only award winner leaving the state for school. She'll be attending Howard University in Washington, D.C.

Brady and Brubaker will be attending area four-year colleges Washington State and Western Washington, respectively. Helm plans to continue studies at Edmonds Community College where he was enrolled in the Running Start Program.
