Relay For Life looks to ‘Paint the Town Purple’

MARYSVILLE — The American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life is looking to “Paint the Town Purple” in the next month, but it needs the help of local residents to do it.

Nancy LaMont, publicity chair for this year’s Relay For Life for North Snohomish County, is asking community members to wear purple on Fridays in May, as well as to display the color purple in their yards, windows and cars through May 23.

LaMont encouraged those with questions or ideas to contact her, by phone at 360-658-5165, or via e-mail at info@beeroyallyorganized.com. For more information, you can also e-mail Relay For Life Event Chair Tracy Anderson at tlynn32556@yahoo.com, or American Cancer Society Staff Partner Kelly Crawford at kelly.crawford@cancer.org, and you can call Crawford at 1-800-ACS-2345.
