The members of the Marysville Kiwanis want to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the Marysville, Everett and surrounding areas for your support this month.

The fishing derby was a resounding success, many pancakes were served, along with sausages and eggs. I believe most of the small fry went home with small fry, too. Thanks to everyone who assisted in this endeavor, especially the Marysville Parks and Recreation Department.

The Memorial to Mr. Ploeger at Kiwanis Park was well attended. The mighty Oak tree was planted, along with a plaque in Mr. Ploeger’s honor. Thanks again to all that attended. For those who do not know where Kiwanis Park is located, the address is 6714 40th St. NE, halfway up the hill behind the nursery.

Again, The Marysville Kiwanis thanks you all.
