As the Commissioners of Snohomish County Hospital District No. 3, we have been elected by the residents of the hospital district to guide the actions of Cascade Valley Hospital.
The increasing population of our community and changes in health care technology has put an enormous strain on our current facilities. In response to the voices of our community calling for a less crowded ER in a more efficient hospital, we voted on March 13 to place Proposition 1 on the May 15 ballot to fund an expansion and upgrading of Cascade Valley Hospital.
We believe it is very important to have an excellent hospital in Arlington. The health of future generations depends on our ability to maintain such a resource and guide its growth.
