The article entitled CLC honors Duane Weston that appeared in the November 21, 2007 issue of The Arlington Times contained a serious inaccuracy.
Duane Weston retired in 2001 as chief forester and president of Pacific Denkmann Companys Pilchuck Tree Farm. He was never president of the corporation. Duanes replacement was Allen Staringer who has been the tree farms chief forester and president since 2002.
Apologies are extended to all for the confusion the reporting caused.
