I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to everyone who came to my assistance at the tragic accident near Island Crossing on Highway 530 on June 14, 2007. I know that several surrounding fire/aid units responded.
Thank you for the professional and prompt care I received. I remember many familiar aces. Especially my classmate, Darlene Strotz, who accompanied me on my transport to the hospital. You all did a great job.
Also, thanks to family and friends for their prayers, flowers, cards and phone calls. They are all very much appreciated.
After surgery and eight days in the hospital, I am at home recuperating and hope to be back at work at my new job at Carlson-Wagonlit Travel in Marysville in the near future.
