Since his election in 2004, Judge Eric Z. Lucas has restored respect to position No. 8 of the Snohomish County Superior Court. The respect of colleagues is evident in the results of the most recent Snohomish County Bar Association poll. He won the poll by amassing 477 points more points than any of the candidates in any of the contested judicial races.

Additionally, Judge Lucas was rated exceptionally well qualified by both the Joint Asian Judicial Evaluation Committee and the Loren Miller Bar Association. Other indications of respect for Judge Lucas, in his bid for re-election this year, are evidenced by the multitude of coveted endorsements from people who work within and understand our legal system.

He is endorsed by eight Washington State Supreme Court Justices, 20 Superior Court judges from Snohomish, King and Pierce Counties, the Snohomish County Prosecutor, Snohomish County Sheriff and numerous attorneys. As a first term judge, he was honored by Supreme Court Chief Justice Gerry Alexander, who appointed him to the state Board of Judicial Administration Best Practices Committee for work done while serving on the Superior Court Judges Association Equality and Fairness Committee. Judge Eric Lucas is endorsed by a "who's who" list of judicial and community leaders, and for good reason.

Judge Lucas is the best candidate for Position No. 8 Snohomish County Superior Court.
