Trapped victims taken to hospitals

MARYSVILLE – Firefighters used an hydraulic prying tool to help victims trapped in their vehicles after a two-car collision on Marine Drive NE Nov. 22.

At 9:26 a.m. Tuesday the Marysville Fire District was dispatched to a serious motor vehicle collision in the 1600 block of Marine Drive NE. Firefighters arrived within eight minutes. One vehicle was on its side with people trapped with significant injuries.

After the trapped occupants were extricated two of them were transported with serious injuries – one by ground to a local hospital and one by air to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
