Shooting victim uncooperative with police

ARLINGTON – Arlington police responded to a report of a gunshot wound victim just after midnight Jan. 5 in the Smokey Point Safeway parking lot.

The 38-year old Marysville victim told police initially that he was shot in the Smokey Point Wal-mart parking lot, police spokeswoman Kristin Banfield said.

Police were unable to confirm where the shooting occurred, however, because the victim was uncooperative.

The victim, who refused medical treatment, was transported by Arlington Fire/EMS to Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett, where he was treated for non-life threatening wounds to his shoulder and arm.
