M’ville asks for school-supply donations for those in need

MARYSVILLE – Many Marysville School District students can’t afford to buy school supplies of their own. So the district is asking for donations to help those in need.

MARYSVILLE – Many Marysville School District students can’t afford to buy school supplies of their own.

So the district is asking for donations to help those in need.

People can bring supplies to the district office between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. daily until the first day of school.

All of the supplies will be given to the Marysville Food Bank, which will distribute items to families in need and to individual schools as requested.

A special Stuff the Bus event is taking place Thursday, August 18, between 10:30 and 1 p.m. at the district office, 4220 80th St. NE.

Items needed include: Pencils, erasers, crayons, colored pencils, red pencil for correcting, pocket-style folder with bottom pockets, notebook paper (Wide- and college-ruled), tissues, glue, ruler, scissors, pencil case, backpack, spiral notebook, pens (black or blue), three ring vinyl hardback binder,

glue stick, compass and protractor.
