MARYSVILLE – A jam-packed week of activities celebrating all things strawberry culminated in the Marysville Strawberry Festival Twilight Grand Parade that had event-goers dancing along sidewalks and the streets.

For this year’s theme, “Jam ‘In Marysville,” festival royalty atop the music-themed float did “The Strawberry Jam” dance to the noise of Jammer and his band, and shared those moves with the crowds.

Floats from communities around the Pacific Northwest and British Columbia delivered a dazzling display of music and lights, joined by decorated cars from all eras, gymnasts, high school marching bands, drill teams, Colors of Hawaii island horses and riders – and even a couple of dinosaurs, winners of the earlier Kiddies Parade.
