Oct. 29 is the last day to register for Nov. 6 Presidential Election

EVERETT — The Snohomish County Auditor's Office will remain open until 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 29 to accommodate last minute voter registrations for new voters. Monday, Oct. 29, is the last day new voters in Washington state may register to vote for the upcoming Nov. 6 Presidential Election. Those interested must register in-person at the Auditor's Office located on the first floor of the Snohomish County Administration West Building, 3000 Rockefeller Avenue, Everett.
In order to register to vote in the state of Washington, a person must:
- be a citizen of the United States;
- have lived in Washington State for at least 30 days;
- be at least 18 years old by Election Day; and
- not currently be in the custody of the Department of Corrections or other criminal justice system due to a felony conviction.
First time voters wanting to participate in the Presidential Election do not need to wait until the deadline. The business hours of the Auditor's Office are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Voters may check their registration status online at www.vote.wa.gov. If you are currently registered, you do not need to register again.
Information about the Nov. 6 General Election can be found on the Snohomish County Auditor's Website at www.snoco.org/elections. Ballots for the General Election were mailed on Oct. 18.
