ARLINGTON – Two Arlington police officers were taken to a local hospital after their vehicle was struck by a woman reportedly driving without her lights on.

Chantelle M. Lemieux, 24, of Arlington was booked into the Snohomish County Jail in Everett on suspicion of DUI after being treated for minor injuries.

The Washington State Patrol reports that at about 1:40 a.m. Thursday Lemieux was eastbound on Highway 530 in a 2016 Camry. The police car, a 2015 Explorer, was westbound and made a left turn into a parking lot when it was struck by the other vehicle.

The officers were taken to Cascade Valley Hospital in Arlington with injuries.
