MARYSVILLE — A 9-year-old boy suffered minor injuries when he was hit by a vehicle just before 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 25.

Marysville Fire District crews responded to the accident, which took place in front of Allen Creek Elementary School, said Kristin Thorstenson, district public information officer.

The boy was transported to Providence Regional Medical Center's Colby Campus in Everett.

No further details about the incident have been released.

Thorstenson said that she hopes the collision can serve as a reminder to drivers that a larger number of students will be walking around this time of year due to early dismissals and spring break vacation.
