Marysville School District Budget Team sets meetings

MARYSVILLE — Members of the Marysville School District Citizens Planning Committee and community are invited to contact MSD Executive Finance Director Jim Baker and his staff about participating in a new “Budget Study Team.”

The team is intended to work with school district finance staff to review the district’s budget needs and projections, as well as to balance those needs with the proposed cuts at the state level.

Those interested in taking part on this team should contact Baker or his assistant, Peggy King, at 360-653-0803.

The team’s meeting dates are set for Feb. 11, 16 and 23, and March 2, 16 and 23, in Room 219 of the Marysville Mountain View High School from 3:45-5 p.m.
