MARYSVILLE — Community Transit will celebrate the dedication of its new park and ride station, at the intersection of Cedar Avenue and Grove Street, with a visit from the "Double Tall," Community Transit's double decker bus, along with special guest speakers, at 10 a.m. Dec. 15.
The new park and ride is the fourth in the Marysville community and will add more than 200 parking spaces, along with motorcycle parking, bike lockers, a three-bus platform and a shelter for waiting passengers. The park and ride opened for bus riders on Nov. 30.
Community Transit CEO Joyce Eleanor and Board Chair Carlton Gipson will join Marysville Mayor Dennis Kendall in celebrating its opening.
