EVERETT — Marysville Municipal Court Judge Fred Gillings received the Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County Judicial Award for his “proactive approach to domestic violence,” at the Hope Within luncheon Sept. 30.
“The city of Marysville, under Judge Gillings’ leadership, has been ordering offenders to attend our domestic violence victim panel since 2007,” said Joe Wilson, candidate for Snohomish County Superior Court Judge, Position 2. “We appreciate his recognition of domestic violence as a serious threat to the safety and security of our Snohomish County residents.”
